FRIDAYS 1979 / 1980 😂😂😂 This was one of Micheal Richards characters on the late night comedy show trying to compete with SNL.... I loved that show, most people forgot about it.

Does anyone remember Michael Richards' Sat. Night Fever character he did in the first episodes of 'Fridays'? He'd wear the 3 piece suit that Johnny T wore in '...Fever' and you know how he does the whole Mr. Kool Kat that he does? Then he becomes that 'Kramer-like' bumbling idiot that makes Inspector Clouseau look like Jack Nicholson at Oscar party. 😁

Michael Richards is great and super funny. Whether he's playing on Transylvania 6500, Problem Child, Weird Als Movies, or Kramer on Seinfeld he's an absolute comic genius

A lot of Jerry Lewis in this.. awkwardly over the top. Only have the crowd laughing at the dumb parts.it worked better in small spots on a sitcom.

Richards could've easily fit into the early days of comedy television in the time of Gleason, Ball, Skelton. Excellent physical comedian.

On April 27, 1989, Michael Richards would film the pilot episode of "The Seinfeld Chronicles" before a live studio audience at Ren-Mar Studios in Hollywood. It would air on Wed. July 5, 1989, and resume with a 4-week run (season 1) on Thursday May 31, 1990.

Dick was a character on Fridays not Seifeld as it is insinuated. This wasn't as funny as the audience made it seem.
